Lively.hood

Learning party pop-ups to foster connection in a lonely city.

(currently seeking venue partners)

We’re all working away on our livelihood, but what we really want is a Lively.hood.

To feel a sense of belonging and be a part of something bigger than ourselves. To learn through relationships and to mirror and magnify the good light around us. To contribute, uplift, and rise as a collective.

Yet, in our pursuit of happiness, we forgot how

We lost touch with our tribal roots - the way we once gathered around fires, shared stories, learned from one another, and thrived in the warmth of community.

Modern life has given us independence but stripped away the natural rhythms of connection. The art of conversation seemingly lost in modern life and even when we gather, we feel disconnected, inauthentic, closed and protective.

Adult friendships are hard, going out is expensive, seasonal depression is very real and somewhere down the line, we got burnt, broken, and fearful of opening up and letting people in.

We’ve traded deep conversations for quick texts, shared experiences for solo scrolling, and community for convenience.

But we are not meant to do life alone.
